News: Because of the strain on eSwordlibrary.com I am adding all the Bibles modules from that website onto theword-modules.com.

We have this website to benefit you, theWord user. All of our efforts here are free, to be a blessing to you. If you get a blessing from our modules, then please on your birthday once a year, send us a small gift of $10 via paypal. You can also send me a check (email me at [email protected] for info).

My present website is basically dedicated to Bibles for theWord (and now eSword). For Spanish Bibles, please see our Spanish website which has dozens of Bibles for theWord in Spanish.

Warning

We offer many different Bibles on this website. I only recommend the King James Bible for English use. For those who wish to consult with other versions of the Bible in theWord Bible Software, we make these available for study purposes. If you do word searches in the KJV and any of these other Bibles (like "atonement"), you will find a tendency away from standard doctrinal terms, and in their place, "explanations," which belong in commentaries, and not in our daily consulted Bible for listening to sermons and daily devotions. Use these at your own risk!

Tract Group 1

ch49 The Biblical Pastor: The Biblical Duty outlines the duties of a pastor.
Topics:

Pastoral Watchcare | Threats to wicked Pastors | Spiritual feeding | Being a Watchman (warning and protecting) | Pastoral Visitation | Intercession by prayer | Pastoring because you love Christ.
Excerpt: The concept of “visit” or “visitation” refers to the pastoral duty (spiritual watchcare of others) in which he analyzes the problems to effect a remedy. This concept is basically “visit”. Jesus identified the true believer as a person which has the naturally emerging joy to serve and help others.

What do false prophets want?
These are reflective, meditative thoughts about false prophets in our churches. What is it that a false teacher seeks when he or she takes the place of a real pastor?
